Senior Accountant
Role: Permanent full time
Location: Ashbourne & Hybrid working if required
Salary: Competitive salary, negotiable dependent on experience

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Senior to join the expanding Accounts team at Coates and Partners in Ashbourne.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation of statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
- Preparation of bookkeeping, VAT returns and management accounts
- Preparation of individual, partnership and corporate tax returns
- Reviewing and finalising accounts and taxation
- Client facing - liaising with clients and HMRC
- Prioritising workload effectively to meet deadlines
We are looking for someone with excellent accounting skills who
- Has experience working within an accountancy practice and the preparation of financial statements
- Is ACA or ACCA qualified. AAT qualified with experience would be considered.
- Has experience working with cloud based bookkeeping software
- Is a team player with a strong work ethic
- Has own transport
- Has knowledge and experience of Xero, Quickbooks, Sage, Digita and Excel software
