Flexible Working

From 6 April 2007 ‘carers’ have the right to request flexible working. A ‘carer’ is defined as someone who is providing care for another adult. That adult must be a spouse, partner, civil partner or a close relative. The employee will be entitled to ask the employer to consider allowing shorter or different working hours or to work from home.
