Mike qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Ernst & Young in Leicester . He soon realised his interests lay in the smaller business sector and quickly moved to Ernst & Young's Business Services Department where he became senior accountant dealing with a variety of small and medium sized client companies, providing a wealth of business knowledge and experience.
