Audit - Registered Auditors
Coates and Partners Limited are registered by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) to conduct audits.
We are familiar with all aspects of compliance, both for smaller enterprises and for subsidiaries of large groups.
In accordance with our corporate policy we conduct the audits using specialised software to ensure a consistent and thorough approach.
Who needs an audit?
Limited Companies and LLPs with an annual turnover of greater than £5.6m, more than 50 employees and gross assets of greater than £2.8m are required to have an audit.
A bank or other lender may also require a company to have an audit, as may external shareholders.
Generally, those businesses not falling within the statutory limits will not choose to have an audit because of the increased costs, due to the introduction of International Audit Standards (ISA).
However, any company can choose to have an audit and many clubs and charities will make this choice, even though not required to do so by statute.
